WILL YOU ALSO GO AWAY? (John 6 : 60 - 69)

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life (v 65 – 69).

Today Jesus is asking you will you go back to the system or the world. What Then Is The System?
The system refers to the normal ways of living on this modern world today. To live peacefully on this earth, then you have to follow the principles of the system, because of this, Christians are troubled always. The system defines and controls everything under the sun, the world, especially the youth.  If you will not follow the system ways of life then you are not civilize enough as our friends always argue with us. Because of this many Christians are deviating from the truth blindly and makes it difficult to identify a Christians from an unbeliever today.  Christians are committing fully to the system instead of the word of God, thinking is normal

.
Today, for example, Christian’s women (our mothers) are not afraid and ashamed to dress half naked, saying "this really look good and smart on me",this is so just because is common and generally accepted to everyone in the system. Men in the Lord (our fathers) are also destroying their body with alcoholic drinks and women whether married or not. You cannot differentiate couple in Christ and worldly couples in terms of dressing and speech. They dress and say the same profane worlds that the earthly women say. Christian’s youth today seems to love the secular songs and movies instead of spiritual ones which will boost their faith in the lord.

Though the world and it people thought it is fair to practices anything possible to make one-self happy. This rule is directly opposite to Christians rules. Christians ought to make God happy not to live by our own interest.
So while Jesus was teaching  the population too was gradually decreasing till it left only the twelve disciples. Many Christians have gone back to their old ways of life after following Christ for a short period of time thinking Christianity is complicated and boring. (John 6: 66)

Indeed the beginning of everything in this life is simple, but becomes complex at the maturity stage. This principle does not work differently in Christian’s life, as we are growing and increasing our faith in God, through the son Jesus Christ obstacles will come our way. Our reactions to these obstacles will determine who we are to Christ.
Jesus Christ is powerful enough to see and hear the words of our heart and mind before we speak them out to Him or our fellow men. (V 61, 64) He knows what types of corruptible system we are living in, and how trouble we are. But Jesus is reluctantly to force us to fellowship with Him, because God allowed man to make his own decisions in the garden. Because of this, He is asking you a question that "will you do as the system demands"
What is going on today is not different from what happened in John 6. Many peoples dwell the temple of God today but are no part of the twelve but rather belong to the system. The twelve were special to Jesus because He choose them. So He walk to them for only one question which He is asking us today, “Will you also go way?” ( v 67)

A very simple question but difficult to be answered by most Christians today, because they are far for Christ or already in the system. A true Christian will give exact answer that Peter gave to Jesus, “Lord, to whom shall we go?”

Please let us follow Christ with the aim of eternal life, this goal will let us stay focus onto Christ.
Many people followed Christ in the beginning when they saw and heard about His miracles working powers, to other food but the twelve followed Jesus for everlasting Life as Simon Peter answered so they refused to go back the system. I pray that this will be your wish as well.
AMEN

To the Church in Sardis

These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent.

But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
